SBR Sewage Treatment Process of Sewage and Wastewater Energy

SBR sewage treatment process is sequencing batch reactor reactivated sludge process. It is abbreviated as SBR-Sequencing Batch Reactor and SBR process. It is the activated sludge process with wastewater biological treatment that the suspended microorganism degrades the organic matters and ammonia nitrogen containments in the sewage under the aerobiotic condition.  Sequencing Batch Reactor Activated Sludge Process is the sewage treatment technology widely recognized and adopted so as to change the growing environment of activated sludge.
Process Flow
A kind of representative SBR process flow is: the wastewater pretreated via the grid enters into the water-collecting well and then lifted to SBR reaction tank by the submersible sewage pump. The tank is oxygenated by flow aerator. The water after treatment will be discharged from the drain pipe. The rest sludge will be discharged into the sludge well via the SBR after static pressure. The sludge will be used as the fertilizer.
Batch-type operation: The space slicing way is taken place by time slicing way. For example, SBR operating cycle consists of inflow time, reaction time, setting time, decanting time, spoil disposal time and idle time and can be freely adjusted.
Applicable Scope: domestic sewage from middle and small towns and industrial sewage from industrial enterprises, especially at the place with big changes of batch-type discharge and flow. For the place necessary for better water quality, such as tourist zone, lake and harbor, the organic matters not only need to be removed, the nitrogen and phosphorous need to be removed from the water in order to prevent the eutrophication of lake. For the place in the shortage of water resource, SBR can make the physiochemical treatment after biological treatment. It is no necessary to add the facilities so as for the recycle of water. For the place with less land, it is necessary to reconstruct the established continuous sewage treatment factory. It is suitable for processing the industrial sewage with small flow and batch-type discharging and treating the dispersed point source pollution.
Wastewater Treatment Method:
Physical Method: It is a kind of wastewater treatment method to separate and recycle the insoluble containments (including the oil slick and oil droplets) with suspended state in the wastewater by the physical reaction. It can be divided to the gravity separation method, centrifugal separation method and filtration trapping method. The treatment method based on the heat exchange principle also belongs to the physical treatment method.
Chemical Method: It is the wastewater treatment method to separate and remove the containments with the dissolved and colloidal state in the wastewater or transfer it into the non-harmful matters by the chemical reaction and mass transfer. For the chemical treatment method, the treatment unit basing on the chemical reaction by addition of reagent includes: flocculation, neutralization, oxidization reduction. The treatment unit basing on the mass transfer includes: extraction, steam stripping, air stripping, adsorption, ion exchange, electrodialysis and reverse osmosis. These 2 treatment units are called membrane separation technology. Of which, the treatment unit of mass transfer has the physical effect, as well as the chemical effect. So, it can be separated form the chemical treatment method and becomes another treatment method called physical-chemical method.
Biological method: It is the wastewater treatment method to transfer the organic containments with the solution, colloid and micro suspension state in the wastewater into the stable and non-harmful matters by the metabolism effect of microorganism. According to different effects of microorganism, the biological treatment method includes aerobic and anaerobic biological treatment. The aerobic biological treatment is widely used for the biological treatment of wastewater. Traditionally, aerobic biological treatment includes the activated sludge process and biofilm process. As a kind of treatment unit, the activated sludge process has several operating ways. The treatment equipment belonging to the biofilm process includes biofilter, biological rotating disc, biological contact oxidization pond and biological fluidized bed. The biological oxidization pond process is called as the natural biological treatment process. The anaerobic biological treatment, also called the biological reduction treatment process, is mainly used for the treatment of organic wastewater and sludge with high concentration. The treatment equipment is mainly digestion tank.
